Which Sarasota courthouse should I go to?
Match the location on your latest court notice to the court's official listing. The place where you filed a document, paid a fee, or attended an earlier hearing may be different from the next hearing location.
Judge Lynn N. Silvertooth Judicial Center

How do I confirm my court date?
Read the latest notice, court appearance record, or notice of a date change.
Open Sarasota ClerkNet and locate the case by case number or defendant name. Confirm the case number so you do not rely on someone else's record.
Review the Case Events section for the scheduled date, time, and location.
Compare the listing with your documents and confirm any discrepancy with your attorney.

Parking, security, and arrival
Allow extra time for parking, entry screening, elevators, and locating the courtroom. Downtown street spaces may have time limits. The court identifies parking options near Ringling Boulevard, including the judicial lot at 2050 Ringling Boulevard and the garage near Ringling Boulevard and School Avenue. Check current signs, availability, and the official courthouse page; a hearing can take longer than expected.
Bring your notice and identification, follow courthouse security instructions, and silence your phone. Arrange transportation that complies with your actual driving privileges. A pending DUI case or a court appointment does not itself authorize driving.
Do I have to appear in person?
Follow the court's order and the instructions confirmed for your particular hearing. Hiring an attorney does not automatically excuse every appearance. Do not assume a Zoom link makes remote attendance permissible, or that an earlier waiver applies to the next date. Ask your attorney to confirm whether you must attend and where to meet.

What if I cannot attend or already missed court?
