Parrish and Ellenton DUI Lawyer
A DUI arrest in Parrish or Ellenton is handled by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office or the Florida Highway Patrol, because both communities are in unincorporated Manatee County. You are booked at the Manatee County Central Jail, 14470 Harlee Road, Palmetto, and the case is heard at the Manatee County Judicial Center in Bradenton. You have 10 days from the date on the notice of suspension to request review of the license suspension.

Where these arrests happen
I-75. The Ellenton and Parrish exits are patrolled by the Florida Highway Patrol's Troop F.
US 301. The main road through Ellenton and Parrish, patrolled by both the Sheriff's Office and FHP.
State Road 62, Moccasin Wallow Road and Fort Hamer Road. Two-lane roads serving the new neighborhoods in north Manatee County.
Both agencies record stops on body camera or dash camera. The Sheriff's Office posts inspection records for its Intoxilyzer 8000 breath instruments, and a defense reviews them along with the video.
What happens next
Booking and release. After the breath test you are held until you are no longer impaired, your level is below 0.05, or 8 hours have passed. Anyone who does not bond out sees a judge within 24 hours.
The license. If you tested 0.08 or higher or refused, the notice of suspension is your 10-day permit. The deadline to request review runs from that date.
Arraignment. Set at the Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. A lawyer can usually file a written plea so you do not have to attend.
